From left to right: string, chain, pliers, wire clippers, two jump rings, and a safety pin.
Once you close the jump ring, remeasure the length again with the string from before. Clip off any chain that is longer than the string.
Clip off the sharp point with pliers.
I clipped off the pointy part because I don’t want to stab myself over and over again when I put on the bracelet. (I know I’m not the only one who struggles to one-handedly close a bracelet clasp. Let’s be honest.)
Be sure not to cut too much off. We don’t want it to be too short to close the safety pin.
